LABEL HISTORY
Asphyxiate Rec began in the latter months of 2002 by David Henkel, as a sole distributor of undergrond extreme metal. The evilution towards a label began in 2003. The label releases only extreme forms of metal music, and prides itself on unearthing some of the most original and talented debut artists from all corners of the globe. The labels "mission statement" is centered predominantly around signing artists of the "undiscovered" nature where art, both musically and idealistically is forward before fame and fortunes but without substituting on the need for high quality releases, professional business activities, wide spread promotion, natural progression and of course, enthusiasm! In 2010 the label opened an office in D.F., Mexico and expanded to a 4 person operation.

We are extremely proud of our release catalogue and the success of the label, discovering some of the strongest and genuinly dedicated bands in the underground such as the likes of new signings OMISION, ZOMBIEFICATION, ERODED, BLOODSOUL and to bands such as DIOCLETIAN, DENIAL, ELYSIAN BLAZE, VASSAFOR, NAZXUL, PAGANIZER...

MEXICO OFFICE
Our Mexican office is located in Distrito Federal, Mexico. Currently only operating as a distributor/wholesale outlet for our releases and a promotional arm. This office can be contacted for Wholesale orders and distribution enquiries for North America, Central and South America.

PROMOTIONAL INFORMATION
Promotional packs are available to all forms of media and come in the form of the desired release/s and accompanied with a promo disc containing history, discography, hi resolution images/logo and all relevant contact information.

FOR BAND WANTING TO BE SIGNED
You must send us a copy of your recording on CD or CDr. Artwork and a bio sheet. No emails with mp3s will be read.
